Our Mission

To improve the quality of life of addicted people and their families by offering hope and help to recover in an environment of dignity and respect, and to promote greater understanding of
addiction in the wider community.

Established in 1993, Talbot Grove treats those suffering from Alcoholism, Drug Addictions, Compulsive Gambling and other addiction problems.
Based on the Minnesota Model of Addiction Treatment and the 12 Steps, our services are delivered by a team of Professional Addiction Counsellors at our centre in Castleisland, the only one of its kind in the South West.

Talbot Grove is a Non Profit organisation, managed by a voluntary Board of Directors, incorporated as a limited Company and granted Charitable Status. Talbot Grove is self-financing through charges for its services, fundraising and donations. Payment can be arranged through health insurance, Employee Assistance Schemes, and private payments. Part payment of treatment costs may be available through your Health Board.
As addiction does not just affect the individual, we recognise the need to work in co-operation with the other Health and Caring Professionals as well as self-help groups (alcoholics anonymous,  Al-anon, Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, etc).
