Overview

Located in a historic home, The Grove was established in 1993 with the aim of treating people with addictions and other related issues.

The centre is located in a pleasant and peaceful environment in the picturesque county of Kerry, adjacent to Ardfert Village on the shores of Banna Beach. It has the feeling of being at home with its comfortable surroundings, pleasant walks and areas for contemplation but with the assurance of privacy and confidentiality.

All treatments are broadly based on a combination of the Minnesota Model of Addiction Treatment and the 12 Step Approach originally developed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Our services are delivered by a team of professionally qualified & highly experienced Addiction Counsellors at our centre in Castleisland, the only one of its kind in the South West.

Success Stories

"I attended The Grove many years ago and I have to say it was one of the best life changing experiences that I have ever had. The counsellors were fantastic; their understanding of the disease of addiction was powerful, which in turn helped me to step into my own recovery."
